Description

SELANK is a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg). It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Research has studied its potential anxiolytic, nootropic, and immunomodulatory properties in preclinical models. It may modulate GABA-A receptor activity and BDNF expression.
